Malaysia’s Kelly Tan maintained her excellent form on the resumed LPGA Tour with a superb T9 finish in the Marathon Classic presented by Dana.
The Malaysian ladies No 1 closed with a two-under-par 69 at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio, for a seven-under-par total, eight shots behind winner Danielle Kang who picked up her second win in a row.
This was the same event and venue where Kelly recorded her career best LPGA Tour finish of T4 in 2014.
The LPGA Tour heads to the UK next for the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Ladies Open and the AIG Women’s British Open.
On the European Tour, Malaysian men’s No 1 Gavin Green failed to make the halfway cut by just one shot in the English Championship at Hanbury Manor. He will continue his return to action in this week’s Celtic Classic at Celtic Manor.
