Malaysian golfer Genevieve Ling delivered a competitive performance at the 2026 Arkea Montauban Ladies Open on the LET Access Series (LETAS), showcasing her consistency and ambition to regain her place on the main LET Tour. Ling was playing her first LETAS event in 2026.
The 31-year-old, who holds a Taiwan LPGA Tour card, opened with a solid 68 (-4) to sit solo second, just one stroke behind the leader. Ling followed it up with a steady second-round 70 (-2), joining a group of co-leaders at six-under-par heading into the final round.
“I’ve enjoyed myself,” Ling said after her opening round. “It’s my first tournament here so I’m just trying to get used to the conditions. Europe’s a great place to play. This week I have a host family… they’ve been super nice. I love experiencing new culture. They’ve cooked me French food and I think that helps a lot too.”
Ling added after round two: “Overall I’ve worked very hard on my game, so it’s just about trusting my game plan. I rolled a couple more putts in today, so that was a nice little bonus. Part of coming here is because I want to go back on the LET Tour. I really enjoyed playing out there.”
Despite a tougher final round of 76, Ling finished tied for eighth place. Her efforts throughout the week highlighted her ball-striking and composure on a challenging course.

In the end, local favourite Lauren Holmey produced a stunning final-round comeback to claim her second LETAS title at the Arkea Montauban Ladies Open.
Starting four shots back, Holmey fired a brilliant 68 (-4) to finish at 210 (-6), edging out Australia’s Kristalle Blum by one stroke. The Frenchwoman ignited her round with five consecutive birdies from holes five to nine, a first in the tournament’s seven-year history, and held firm to secure the victory.
With the win, Holmey took a commanding lead in the LETAS Order of Merit after three events.
