Now in its third edition, the Maybank Championship has quickly become a defining stop on the LPGA calendar. From Céline Boutier’s dramatic nine-hole playoff win in 2023 to Ruoning Yin’s commanding performance in 2024, the Championship has delivered unforgettable moments. It has also served as a launchpad for ASEAN talent, with local players like Mirabel Ting and Ashley Lau proving last year that the region’s rising stars are more than ready to compete on the global stage.
ASEAN Qualifier: Pathway to the World Stage
The Maybank Championship ASEAN Qualifier will be held at KLGCC’s West Course from 12–13 August 2025, providing Southeast Asia’s top golfers with a chance to secure a coveted spot in the Maybank Championship. With five slots up for grabs, the competition is set to be intense, attracting the region’s most promising professional and amateur players.

In previous editions, the Qualifier has been a career-defining opportunity, uncovering standout talents ready to make their mark on the global stage. This year’s edition is expected to further raise the bar, reinforcing ASEAN’s readiness to shine on the LPGA Tour.
