Golf tournaments and dine-in will not be permitted at golf clubs in areas which fall under the Movement Control Order (MCO).
This was announced by the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) today in its latest Mandatory Standard Operating Procedures for golf clubs located in MCO areas.
While dine-in is not allowed at all F&B outlets of golf clubs in MCO areas, takeaway services are permitted – this is in line with the National Security Council’s standard operating procedures for food outlets.
Six districts in Selangor, including the golf course-heavy Petaling district, will be placed under the MCO from May 6 until May 17. Additionally, the MCO will also be imposed in the national capital of Kuala Lumpur and several other districts nationwide from May 7 to May 20.
