The Singapore Golf Association announced the launch of their 2025 World Amateur Team Championships (WATC) website, where global golf fans will be able to stay up to date with the latest news and information about the championships.

“The launch of this website is an important milestone for the World Amateur Team Championships, allowing golf enthusiasts worldwide to stay connected with all the latest tournament updates,” said Joshua Ho, General Manager of the Singapore Golf Association.

“Hosting the 2025 World Amateur Team Championships is a proud moment for Singapore and the SGA, showcasing our ability to stage world-class golf events and providing a platform for rising stars to compete on a global stage. Preparations are well underway, and we look forward to welcoming players, officials and fans to Singapore in October.”

With just six months to go before the world’s top amateur golfers arrive in Singapore, the website will serve as the primary source for local updates ahead of the tournament at Tanah Merah Country Club (TMCC) in October. It will feature information about Singapore, including event accommodation and transportation, geography and culture, tourism and public attractions, TMCC and more.

Conducted by the International Golf Federation (IGF) and hosted for the first time in Singapore by the SGA, the 2025 WATC will see the world’s best amateur golfers compete for the prestigious Espirito Santo Trophy (women) and Eisenhower Trophy (men) in a 72-hole stroke play format from October 1-11.

“We are delighted with the launch of the 2025 WATC website to showcase the Singapore edition of this world-renowned amateur golf event. This platform marks another step in our journey to celebrate and promote the spirit of golf among enthusiasts of all levels. Let’s make this event a memorable experience for everyone involved,” said Antony Scanlon, Executive Director of the International Golf Federation.

The SGA website will be a hub for all local, event-related information, updates and community engagement, while the WATC section on IGFgolf.com remains the destination for official championship updates and information, including WATC rankings, qualifying dates, field lists and more.
