One of the best places to indulge in a Ramadan Buka Puasa (breaking of fast) buffet is at Palm Garden Golf Club’s R5ve Café, where diners enjoy not only delicious local cuisine but also panoramic views of the award-winning golf course.
Running from April 15 to May 12, the Citarasa Nusantara Buffet offers a stunning spread of Malaysian favourites prepared by Sous Chef Radzi and his experienced team.
Among the main dishes are the famous R5ve Curry Mee, Ayam Golek and the star of the show, Kambing Golek, which is whole lamb in a special marinade roasted over a charcoal fire to succulent perfection. There are also ‘live’ cooking stalls offering chicken and beef Satay, Char Kuay Teow and Roti Canai.
The buffet rotates a mouth-watering myriad of other main dishes such as Burung Puyuh, Ikan Keli, Keropok Lekor, Hati Ayam, Pedal Ayam, Daging Masak Hitam, Telur Dadar Peria, Kari Ikan Bawal, Ayam Berempah, Gulai Daging Tetel and the imaginatively-named Ayam Pencen Masak Lemak Cili Api.
Once the tummy is filled with the savoury delights, sweeten the palate with the vast dessert spread that includes Tapai Ubi, sweet porridges, the ever-popular Ais Kacang and fresh fruits.
With over 75 types of delicacies on offer and priced at RM88 nett for adults, the Citarasa Nusantara Buffet has to be one of the best-value Ramadan buffets in the Klang Valley and is ideal for Buka Puasa gatherings with family, friends and colleagues.
Children enjoy a discounted rate of RM52.80 nett, while senior citizens only have to pay RM44 nett. Additionally, Palm Garden is also offering a 50% green fee discount for golfers who purchase the buffet.
