The Professional Golf Association of Malaysia (PGAM) will continue its series of golf seminars this Wednesday, August 25, with a ‘Mental Training in Golf’ presentation by Dr. Lim Boon Hooi, a sports lecturer with the University of Malaya.
The seminar starts at 10.30am and is the second in series of four by the PGAM. The first seminar held last week was on the topic of ‘Education & Careers in the Golf Industry’, presented by golf industry stalwart Azhar Ismail. The other seminars are on ‘Golf Nutrition’ by Dr Sareena Hanim Hamzah, another sports lecturer with the University of Malaya (September 1), and on ‘Strength & Conditioning in Golf’ by Prof. Madya Dr Raja Mohammed Firhad, a sports lecturer with UiTM Shah Alam (September 8).
The fee for the ‘Mental Training In Golf’ seminar is RM40, while those who sign up for all three remaining sessions only have to pay R100. To register, click here
“We’ve been planning to organize seminars like these for a while now. We were looking for the right topics and the right speakers to make it happen,” said PGAM president CM Chong.
“We plan to have more golf-related seminars in the future and make them accessible to the public,” he added.
