Srixon’s new ZX4 Irons have a hollow design with a sleek, narrow look, generating the forgiveness typically expected from larger designs.
The ZX4 Irons deliver a confidence-boosting address profile while also boasting the highest forgiveness in a Srixon iron to date. It’s a game-changing combination that makes Srixon irons accessible to a whole new spectrum of players, particularly those looking for game improvement equipment.
MAINFRAME
Created with human intelligence yet perfected by the artificial kind, MainFrame is a one-of-a-kind face design that increases ball speed on every shot. While Srixon’s engineers set the parameters, computers ran thousands of simulation to produce the Japanese clubmaker’s fastest irons yet.
Milled into the backs of each ZX4 face, MainFrame is a variable thickness pattern made up of grooves, channels and cavities that maximises COR for more ball speed and incredible distance.
PROGRESSIVE GROOVES
The key to better iron play is consistency. As you move through the lofts, hitting long and short shots from various lies, you need spin, distance and launch windows to remain as consistent as possible.
To help achieve that, the ZX4 grooves are progressive. The 4-iron to 7-iron feature wide grooves, ideal for longer shots in all conditions, while the 8-iron to pitching wedge have deeper, closer-set grooves which are perfect for cutting through grass and debris on approach shots.
The result is consistency across the set: both long and short irons delivering repeatable, reliable performance, with fewer surprises.
MULTI-PIECE CONSTRUCTION
Premium, high-density tungsten in the base of ZX4’s long and mid irons lowers the centre of gravity significantly to promote high-launching shots.
The forged HT1770 Steel face is strong and light, increasing face-flex at impact for enhanced speed and distance. Meanwhile, a 431 Steel body absorbs vibrations for softer feel.
HOLLOW DESIGN
The hollow design of each ZX4 Iron makes it the most forgiving iron in the ZX family. Golfers enjoy the freedom to strike the ball across the face while still enjoying high shots that launch straight and find the target.
All that forgiveness comes in a palatable shape and sharp address view, thanks to the mid-sized profile made possible by the hollow design.
TOUR V.T. SOLE
The unique Tour V.T. Sole promotes smoother turf interaction and improves impact feel. The V-shaped sole glides smoothly through turf, even on strikes slightly behind the ball.
The ZX4 Irons also feature the resurgence of Srixon’s popular sole notches. Revered by tour players, these heel and toe notches enhance workability without sacrificing forgiveness.
COMPONENTS & CUSTOMISATION
The stock steel shaft is the NS Pro Zelos 8 which utilises high-intensity NZNS60 material to produce smooth control and power with easy swings. For graphite, the ZX4 Irons come stock with the high-performance Diamana ZX shafts.
The ZX4 Irons are fitted with the proven and popular Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grips, which have less intrusive logos along with a state-of-the-art rubber-blend compound and a non-slip surface pattern.
While all the standard components in each ZX Iron are tour-proven, a vast selection of no up-charge options provides a truly bespoke experience.
