The 2025 HSBC Women’s World Championship is set to feature one of the most competitive fields in women’s golf, with nine of the world’s top 10 players confirming their participation at the event taking place at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore, February 27 – March 2, 2025.

Among the previously announced players are World No. 2 Ruoning Yin (CHN), World No. 3 and three-time major champion Lydia Ko (NZL), World No. 5 Lilia Vu (USA), defending champion and World No. 6 Hannah Green (AUS). Joining them to complete the stellar lineup are World No. 4 Jeeno Thitikul (THA), World No. 7 Haeran Ryu (KOR), World No. 8 Ayaka Furue (JPN), World No.9 Celine Boutier (FRA), and World No. 10 Charley Hull (ENG). Collectively, these players boast nine major championships and 54 LPGA titles.

In 2024, together these players secured 15 victories, with Thai star Jeeno Thitikul contributing two wins, including the prestigious season-ending CME Group Tour Championship in November. Thitikul, set to make her fourth appearance at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, has an impressive record of finishing in the top 10 in all her previous outings. She returns to the event after missing last year due to a thumb injury.

“I’m so excited to return to the HSBC Women’s World Championship this year,” said Jeeno Thitikul.”This tournament has always been one of my favourite stops on tour, and playing at Sentosa Golf Club is such an incredible experience. Missing last year’s event was tough, but it has only made me even more excited to come back this year. I’m looking forward to competing against an amazing field, as always, and returning to one of my favourite cities.”

Another standout performer in 2024 was Japan’s Ayaka Furue, who claimed her first major title at the 2024 Amundi Evian Championship and recorded 12 top-10 finishes, including a tied 8th place at last year’s HSBC Women’s World Championship.

Kee Joo Wong, CEO of HSBC Singapore, commented: “We’re thrilled to see nine of the world’s top 10 women golfers committing to participate at the 2025 HSBC Women’s World Championship. The continued strong showing of elite players illustrates the quality of this competition and the attraction of Singapore as a preferred destination. We can’t wait to welcome these world-class athletes to the global hub of Singapore, for what promises to be another exceptional edition of ‘Asia’s Major’.”
