Thailand’s Namo Luangnitikul claimed the title at the 49th Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC) Ladies’ Amateur Open Championship 2026 after finishing with a three-round total of 215 at The Royal Selangor Golf Club on Thursday.
Malaysia’s Wang Xin Yao finished runner-up on 218, while Thailand’s Arisa Bimaghim secured third place on 220, capping a strong showing by the region’s leading amateur golfers.
Held from 4 to 6 August, this year’s championship attracted 48 amateur golfers from 11 countries – Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam, further reinforcing the tournament’s reputation as one of the Asia-Pacific region’s premier women’s amateur events.
Now in its 49th edition, the championship remains an important platform for emerging golfers to gain experience of international competition. Over the years, many former participants have gone on to represent their countries and pursue professional careers.

Speaking at the prize-giving ceremony, Encik Omar Salim, Organising Chairman of the 49th RSGC Ladies’ Amateur Open Championship 2026, said the tournament remains committed to developing women’s amateur golf in the region.
“For nearly five decades, the RSGC Ladies’ Amateur Open Championship has provided talented young golfers with the opportunity to compete against the region’s best while fostering excellence, sportsmanship and friendship. We are proud to continue this tradition and remain committed to supporting the growth of women’s golf across the Asia-Pacific,” he said.
The championship will mark its landmark 50th edition next year, with The Royal Selangor Golf Club aiming to further cement its standing as one of the region’s most prestigious women’s amateur tournaments while continuing to nurture the next generation of golfing talent.
