The MercedesTrophy, a favourite among golf enthusiasts for 33 years, is set to make a comeback.

The MercedesTrophy is an international tournament series held exclusively for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia customers who share an enthusiasm for golf. First introduced in 1991, the amateur tournament series has now established itself as one of the most coveted events. It hosts more than 60,000 golfers worldwide in over 60 countries every year.
This year’s competition will be played in four qualifying rounds with the first taking place at the Forest City Resort, Johor, on 11 May 2023. The winners of each round will then meet for the National Final which will be held for the first time ever, at The ELS Club Desaru Coast, Johor on 27 June 2023.
The winners of each round will meet for the National Final on 27 June 2023 and the top two finishing finalists with highest Stableford points in the National Final will qualify for the MercedesTrophy World Final taking place from 3rd to 7th October 2023 in Stuttgart, Germany – the birthplace of the automobile and Mercedes-Benz.

To encourage the perfect drive, the first player to achieve a Hole-In-One on any of the two designated par-3 holes at each venue will win the EQE 350+ 4MATIC, worth RM 419,888. Price is on the road without insurance.
In addition to that, “Drive to the Major” is a unique competition exclusive to Mercedes-Benz and offered worldwide. The finalist who achieves the straightest drive or is nearest to the line is declared the winner of the “Drive to the Major” competition at the MercedesTrophy National Final Malaysia. The winner will receive a once-in-a-lifetime experience with an all-expenses-paid trip to The Open 2023, taking place from 19th to 24th July 2023.
