Taking place at Laguna National Golf Resort Club, the field is expected to feature some of the sport’s most accomplished players and future stars with the confirmed player list to be announced later. Automobile giant Porsche returns as Title Partner of the event, continuing its long-standing relationship with the DP World Tour.

Ahead of the tournament, the host venue, Laguna National Golf Resort Club and official hotel, Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore where the event will be played and the players will reside, has again been nominated for the Best Golf Course and Best Golf Hotel in Singapore and Asia in the World Golf Awards. Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore was named the Best Golf Hotel in Singapore in 2022 and 2023.

The 2025 event, presented by event delivery partner Vantage Pointe, will be the third edition of the Porsche Singapore Classic. Swede Jesper Svensson won his first DP World Tour title in Singapore this year, triumphing after a dramatic play-off victory over four-time DP World Tour winner Kiradech Aphibarnrat.

Porsche Singapore Classic executive championship director Patrick Bowers said: “We are proud the Porsche Singapore Classic is set to inaugurate the DP World Tour’s Asian Swing again in 2025, a testament to its swift ascension as a premier event. This championship has captivated players worldwide, earning acclaim for Singapore’s unparalleled allure as a destination, Porsche’s prestigious partnership, and Laguna National’s formidable challenge. The 2024 edition showcased an impressive field representing 27 nations, culminating in a riveting playoff that crowned our champion. As we look to 2025, we anticipate an even more intense spectacle of world-class golf, further cementing the tournament’s status in the global golfing calendar.”

The DP World Tour first visited Singapore in 1991, with Major champions Sir Nick Faldo and Ian Woosnam winning the Johnnie Walker Classic in 1993 and 1996. Other DP World Tour winners in Singapore include 2004 Singapore Masters champion Colin Montgomerie, who won a record eight Order of Merit titles on the Tour, Vijay Singh (Singapore Masters 2001) and Adam Scott (Singapore Open 2010). Notably, Singaporean Mardan Marmat delighted the home fans at Laguna National in 2006 when he won the Singapore Masters, becoming the country’s only winner on the DP World Tour to date.
