XXIO’s 11th generation fairway woods and hybrids feature, like the driver, two separate ranges – the XXIO Eleven which delivers high trajectory with easy swings, and the XXIO X -eks- which caters for solid swing golfers.
Technological Features
The hybrids and fairways in both lines utilise the newly-developed Weight Plus Technology which helps golfers maintain the wrist cock, creating an ideal and highly stable ‘power position for greater distance’. In testing, amateur golfers experienced 3.8 yards greater distance with the XXIO Eleven fairways and 1.3 more yards with the new hybrid, compared to the previous models.
The shaft is lighter with weight concentrated in the butt end of the rubber grip, which helps maintain the wrist cock from the start of the swing and allows for a more stable top position.
The Cannon Sole design of the clubhead features an ultra-thin face with a mild curve for increased distance. The cup face’s joining point in the fairway was extended by 2mm, expanding the thinly designed portions by 132% compared to the previous models. In the hybrid, the joining point was extended by 4mm which increases the thinly -designed portions by 267%.
The clubhead of the fairway has a shallow back and thinner crown, lowering the CG to suit the ideal hitting points of target golfers. The hybrid has a flatter round sole face shape, extending the sole area for a lower CG.
