Tropicana Golf & Country Resort (TGCR) has strengthened its position in Malaysia’s golf and lifestyle sector by securing four industry awards in less than a month, recognising its achievements across golf, dining, family recreation, lifestyle, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.
TGCR was named Excellence in Leisure – Luxury Golf & Lifestyle Resort at The BrandLaureate Lifestyle BestBrands Awards 2026 on 30 July. It was the only Malaysian golf club recognised at this year’s awards, marking its return to the BrandLaureate winners’ list after its 2016 win.
The resort added three more accolades at the Tourism Industry Awards 2026 on 8 August, winning Best Family-Oriented Golf Club, Best Golf Lifestyle Restaurant for Twenty7 Restaurant, and Best ESG Excellence Award for Golf Club.
The ESG award was particularly significant, as the category was introduced for the first time at the Tourism Industry Awards, with TGCR becoming its inaugural recipient.

The latest recognitions add to TGCR’s growing list of industry accolades and come as the resort continues to be nominated in the HAPA Awards 2026 Series and the World Golf Awards 2026.
Established in the 1990s, the 625-acre Tropicana Golf & Country Resort features a 27-hole golf course and a 450,000 sq ft clubhouse. The clubhouse has evolved into a lifestyle and recreational hub, offering dining, sports, wellness, retail, healthcare and learning facilities alongside its golf amenities.
