Scotland-based golf technology company Shot Scope is expanding its presence in Malaysia through a retail partnership with MST Golf, bringing its latest performance-tracking products, including the LM1 Launch Monitor, to golfers nationwide.
The rollout forms part of Shot Scope’s wider expansion across Southeast Asia, where demand for accessible, data-driven golf technology is growing alongside increased participation and the popularity of indoor simulators.
Shot Scope, which began with performance-tracking technology, has since expanded its portfolio to include GPS golf watches, laser rangefinders, shot-tracking systems and launch monitors. Its connected ecosystem is designed to help golfers use data to better understand their performance both on and off the course.
“We’re seeing golfers across Southeast Asia becoming increasingly engaged with technology that helps them better understand their game, both on the course and in the sim,” said Shot Scope CEO David Hunter.
“With LM1 and our connected ecosystem, golfers get practical, accurate feedback for range sessions, indoor simulators, and home practice without the complexity. Whether it’s on-course strategy, distance control, or practice insights, golfers today want tools that are both powerful and easy to use.”
In Malaysia, the brand will be available through MST Golf’s retail network.
“Malaysian golfers value equipment that’s easy to use yet highly capable,” said MST Golf head of marketing Sherman Ng. “Shot Scope’s LM1 and connected platform deliver clarity and confidence in practice, with no subscriptions and exceptional value ideal for golfers upgrading their training routines.”
The LM1 Launch Monitor is the latest addition to Shot Scope’s product range, providing real-time swing and ball-flight data to help golfers assess their performance during practice. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the compact device aims to provide accessible performance insights without the complexity of more advanced launch-monitor systems.
Shot Scope’s products are now available through an expanding network of distributors and retail partners across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
The company also offers performance data and analytics without subscription fees, alongside detailed course mapping across Asia to provide distance information and on-course guidance.
