Amir Nazrin delivered a superb bogey-free final round of seven-under-par 65 to win the PGM Royal Pahang Closed Championship at the Royal Pahang Golf Club.
The victory saw Amir finish at 16-under-par, seven shots clear of runner-up Ervin Chang. He collected the winner’s cheque for RM35,000.
Amir credited his recent improvement in form for the victory and said he was delighted to cap the week with a flawless final round. He will next compete on the All Thailand Tour, before returning for the PGM Port Dickson Closed Championship.
Amateur Rizq Adam Rohizam claimed the Best Amateur honours after finishing tied with Ervin Chang at nine-under-par.
In the Ladies Championship, Zulaikah Nasser successfully defended her title, finishing two-over-par to win in Pahang. She earned RM11,000 for her win and said the result made Kuantan a place she would always remember.
Strong winds blowing from the sea towards the inland made conditions challenging during the final round, with many approach shots drifting towards the tree-lined fairways.
The PGM Royal Pahang Closed Championship 2026 featured a total prize purse of RM200,000, while the Ladies Championship offered RM35,000.
