Malaysian stalwart Danny Chia has joined the Zurich Insurance Group’s team of golf ambassadors along with Sergio Garcia and Tommy Fleetwood.
The trio join current ambassadors Jason Day, Justin Rose, Lexi Thompson, Jamie Donaldson and Billy Horschel and will carry Zurich branded golf bags throughout the season. The Zurich Golf Ambassadors Program has helped Zurich expand its reach globally and engage with its customers and business partners.

Chia joins the team with a focus on efforts specifically in the Malaysian market. A history-maker for Malaysia, Chia is the first Malaysian to hold multiple victories on the Asian Tour and represented Malaysia at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. In 2010, he became the first Malaysian to make the cut in the British Open at St. Andrews.
