Gavin Green extended his lead to 10-under-par at the PGM Tun Ahmad Sarji Trophy, holding a five-shot advantage over defending champion and MGA national amateur Anson Yeo heading into the final round at Saujana Golf & Country Club.
“I had plenty of opportunity to convert but my putter was cold today and didn’t sink that many birdies. The course is in a good condition and the greens running true,” said Green, who carded three birdies but dropped shots on holes 4 and 16. Long hitter Marcus Lim remains a strong contender among the leading group, while multiple PGM champion Nicholas Fung sits at four-under-par.
