Gavin Green secured the PGM Tun Ahmad Sarji Trophy 2026 title with a commanding performance, finishing at 14-under par. He carded five birdies and a single bogey at the eighth hole in the final round, maintaining a comfortable lead over MGA national amateur Anson Yeo and Marcus Lim.
Green, who led from the opening round through to the finish, emphasised consistency as key to his victory. “Leading from round one to finish was nice and grinding in for more birdies was the goal,” said Gavin.
Anson Yeo emerged as the best amateur, finishing at eight-under par, while Marcus Lim took third place at seven-under par. Zia Iqmal, Afifi Fathi, Kim Leun Kwang and Zia Izzuddeen were tied at even par.
In the Ladies Championship, Liyana Durisic delivered another strong performance to secure a back-to-back victory, strengthening her position at the top of the Order of Merit. Starting on hole 10, Liyana encountered a setback after losing her ball at the 18th, but recovered well over the closing stretch to finish at five-under par.
Zulaikah Nasser finished at two-under par, while Allycia Gan ended the tournament at four-over par.
The PGM Tun Ahmad Sarji Trophy offered a prize purse of RM180,000, with RM30,000 allocated for the Ladies Championship. The tournament was hosted by Saujana Golf & Country Club and played on its picturesque par 72 Bunga Raya course.
