Sukree Othman will take a one-shot lead into the final round of the PGM Royal Pekan Closed Championship after carding a two-under-par 70 to remain atop the leaderboard at seven-under-par 137.
Sukree’s second round featured four birdies and two bogeys, enough to keep him ahead despite a strong challenge from Jeremiah Kim, who produced the round of the day. Kim fired a flawless seven-under-par 65, highlighted by seven birdies and no bogeys, to move into second place at six-under-par.
Marcus Lim sits third on five-under-par, while Shaifubari Muda is a further stroke back on four-under, setting up an exciting finish at Royal Pekan Golf Club.

In the Ladies Championship, Zulaikah Nasser leads the field at one-under-par, holding a one-shot advantage over Jocelyn Chee. Liyana Durisic is third on two-over-par.
Amateurs Victor Ng and Foong Xi Yu also secured places in the final round after making the cut. Victor progressed on eight-over-par, while Foong advanced in the Ladies Championship on three-over-par.
The PGM Royal Pekan Closed Championship carries a prize purse of RM180,000, while the Ladies Championship offers RM30,000. Both events are being contested over the par-72 Royal Pekan Golf Club course.
